PROFESSIONALS
Professional membership is dedicated to cultivating leadership, community, and technical talent within the fields of science, technology, engineering & math (emphasizing engineering) for those already beyond their formal education (College or trade programs).
We achieve this through training initiatives/opportunities, volunteerism, personal and professional development programing, mentoring opportunities, and unique industry exposure.
Our membership is inclusive, welcoming all people who are STEM and non-STEM professionals!
OPTION 1: STEM MEMBERSHIP - If you are interested in joining us Nationally AND Locally please complete national membership first via button below.
OPTION 2: AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP - If you only want to join the organization locally.
Note: you will not get opportunity to participate in National or Regional NSBE programming options, benefits, or conventions/conferences.

NSBE JR PROGRAM
Our NSBE Jr. Chapter is nationally and regionally recognized as a leading chapter within the international NSBE organization. Founded by three STL Professional chapter members who saw the need to start with the youth to increase African American representation in STEM, our chapter serves 3rd–12th grade students throughout St. Louis. We have helped over 300+ members pursue engineering or STEM degrees, providing more than $1.6 million in programming, scholarships and continued education funds. Our students are encouraged to embody our mission, confidently push innovation, and develop technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, all while being introduced to college/trade students & industry professionals.
* Must have a National NSBE Membership, National Membership ID will be required.

The STL Gateway Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers is dedicated to cultivating future leaders in engineering and technology by offering personal & professional development, mentoring opportunities, and career guidance.
Our mission emphasizes collaboration with local corporations, professional organizations, and collegiate chapters in St. Louis and surrounding regions to enhance and increase the pipeline of engineering and technical talent that is retained in Missouri.
Furthermore, we promote the essential skills required for success in the technological sector, fostering an environment for constructive feedback and critical conversations that drive innovation and leverage the talent developed within our community for post-education/training pursuits.
